Learn more at <a href="https://www.jnj.com/medtech" target="_blank"><u>https://www.jnj.com/medtech</u></a> </p><p></p><p><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><p><span><span>This Medical Affairs Senior Scientist will be responsible for supporting one or several product development  projects within the JJMT EP’s product portfolio while fostering strong, productive relationships with colleagues across the organization. </span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span>Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson &amp; Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position is:</span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Responsible  for executing the clinical strategy to support product characterization and design features </span></span></p><p><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Will develop and execute product and/or procedural protocols for evidence generation  </span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Collaborate with evidence generation colleagues for evidence generation for new and existing products in order to support regulatory approval/clearance</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Provide scientific and test method expertise during study design development</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Provide pre-clinical insight to the development teams for the risk assessment</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><p><span><b><span>Education</span></b></span></p><ul><li><span><span>BS with at least 6 years, MS with at least 4 years, PhD with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Nursing, or Biological Science is required.</span></span></li></ul><p><span><span>​</span></span></p><p><span><b><span>Experience                 </span></b></span></p><ul><li><span><span>An understanding of cardiac anatomy and medical devices are required.</span></span></li><li><p><span><span>A minimum of 3 years working on pre-clinical models is required, with chronic models is preferred.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Advanced technical writing skills is required with an emphasis on organizing data and presenting findings, with a demonstrated success in medical data generation, interpretation, and publications are highly preferred</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>A proven working knowledge of catheter laboratory equipment and operating room procedures </span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience in working with a global cross-functional teams is required.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Must be able to work in a high stress environment with minimal supervision.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proven project management skills, with a demonstrable track record of success managing multiple projects</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Must be able to collaborate well with multiple partners and work effectively in a matrix environment </span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>​Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
